Felicia Moreno

Felicia Moreno was born to a family of thieves that taught her various tricks as she grew up, turning her into a master of disguise and sleight-of-hand. While her crimes as a child were relatively petty, Felicia soon advanced to more serious thefts, robbing stagecoaches and pilfering jewelry from princesses and nobles.

Felicia shared a close relationship with Lucia Márquez, also a thief, and the two would often work together to pull off heists of a larger scale. When Lucia was recruited by the Templar Order, Felicia followed after her, but to her regret, the two soon grew apart soon.

She later became romantically involved with Renardo Aguilar, a Spanish Templar, but their relationship suffered and eventually came to an end because of Renardo's dedication to bringing his art, La Verdadera Destreza, to the people.

In 2013, her genetic memories were used as an Animi Avatar by the entertainment branch of the Templar company Abstergo Industries, to influence the general public via the Animus game console, under the title of the Puppeteer.

Trivia

  • Felicia is a feminine derivate of the Latin adjective felix, meaning "happy, lucky". Moreno is a word used by the Spanish and the Portuguese to refer to a (male) person with a deeply-tanned skin. Morena would be the female variant; from mora, meaning "blackberry, mulberry", but also "Moorish".
  • Felicia's profession, signature weapon and costume design somewhat resembles that of Caha, the Hellequin.
