Feeney Sodd was a British citizen, who lived in London in the mid-nineteenth century.
Biography
Working as a barber on Whitechapel's Fleet Street, Sodd started noticing several of his customers disappearing. At some point in 1868, he gave a haircut to Detective Murphy of the Metropolitan Police Service, who asked him several questions about these disappearances. Not long after, he also cut a local deliveryman, George. Due to his recent decision to stop drinking, however, his hands trembled and he accidentally drew blood.[1]
After the disappearances of both of his customers, he was confronted by the Assassins Evie and Jacob Frye, who were investigating the missing detective's case. He answered their questions and explained the incident with George, allowing the investigators to follow the trail of blood to the courier's house, where they found his body, and evidence that led them to the killer.[1]
