Alaric I (370/375 – 410) was the first King of the Visigoths from 395 to his death.
In 410, Alaric and his troops sacked Rome through the Porta Salaria,[1] scattering the ashes of the deceased Emperor Hadrian in his mausoleum[2] and destroying the Basilica Aemilia.[3]
In 2012, he was included in a mnemonic set in Abstergo Industries' Project Legacy.[4]
