Description
Upon deciding that the moment was right, Antonio de Magianis tells Ezio that their greatest opportunity to assassinate Emilio Barbarigo had come. Unfortunately, the archers protecting the Palazzo della Seta were impeding their attack's success, thus they come up with a plan to kill the archers, dress Antonio's thieves as the guards, and have them take their places.
After reporting his success of disposing of the archers to Antonio, Ezio climbs the top of the Palazzo where he briefly evesdrops on a conversation between Emilio and Carlo Grimaldi, discussing how a certain Assassin is slowly slaying their Templar allies. After Carlo departs, Emilio stands helpless and still, not even expecting the Assassin to jump from his hiding spot onto him, ending his life. After a few words are exchanged between victim and Assassin, the guards quickly surround Ezio, but before they can attack, they all fall dead from arrows, courtesy of the disguised thieves. Ezio, Rosa, and the rest of the thieves open up the Palazzo, cheering for their victory.
Outcome
Emilio Barbarigo is assassinated. Merchants are allowed to resume business in the district he had controlled.
