This article is about philosopher. You may be looking for the self-proclaimed god Empedokles.

Empedocles (c. 494 – c. 434 BCE) was a Greek philosopher who lived in Greek Sicily during the 5th century BCE. He recorded his ideas in a poetic work, On Nature.

During the early 16th century, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze retrieved a hidden copy of this book in Constantinople.[1]

Trivia

  • While a copy of the poem is retrieved in-game by Ezio, in real life, the book remains lost, with only a quarter of it having survived in fragments.
