They fight their way toward the Villa and meet Claudia as she backs away from more attackers.

Outcome
Ezio, Claudia, Maria and the townspeople escape through the tunnels under the city. Ezio rides for Rome but collapses from his injuries on his way. Monteriggioni is lost.
Trivia
The man with the eye patch is a traitor working for the Borgia. This would explain his surprise upon seeing the secret tunnel and his sudden eagerness not to continue along it.
