Elizabeth I (7 September 1533 – 24 March 1603) was the Queen regnant of England and Ireland, reigning from 17 November 1558 until her death. She was the half-sister of Mary I.[1]
By Elizabeth's reign the globus cruciger (Royal Orb) was actually an Apple of Eden.[2]
