m Speculation always negates pertinence, and this piece of trivia is undoubtedly speculation ("Although less probable...", "... the child *could* be..."). It's possible, yes, but equally unconfirmed as the son's Ibn-La'Ahad ancestry

*Although less probable given the time and location of his birth, the child could also be the illegitimate son of [[William Miles]], since no mention is made of Desmond's matrilineal lineage, namely [[Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad]].

I wanted to ask you something. Which is... what's your name?
This article title is conjecture. Although the article subject is canon, no official name for it has been given.
He who increaseth knowledge, increaseth sorrow.

This article contains spoilers, meaning it has information and facts concerning recent or upcoming releases from the Assassin's Creed series. If you do not want to know about these events, it is recommended to read on with caution, or not at all.

This template should be removed from the article three months after release.

"Let's see... patrilineal line... Nineteenth century American midwest. Eighteenth century American Revolution. Sixteenth century Ottoman Empire. Fifteenth century Italian Renaissance! Oh my god! You don't mean...?"
―Álvaro Gramática discovering the boy's identity, 2015.[src]

The son (born c. 2005) of Desmond Miles is a Sage living in New York. On 4 October 2015, his mother brought him to an Abstergo clinic in New York, at which point Abstergo discovered he shared the patrilineal lineage of Desmond Miles.

While Álvaro Gramática wished to kidnap the boy immediately and conduct a vivisection on him, Isabelle Ardant opposed this, claiming the young Sage as her own project. She instead planned to have Abstergo abduct the boy once he was old enough, and then put him into an Animus for the rest of his life so they could study his lineage.
