The Einherjar, also called the Swellers of Glory,[1] were those who had died in battle and were brought to Valhalla by Valkyries in Norse mythology.
Legacy
During the Viking expansion into England, a set of armor inspired by the Einherjar was made available to the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories in 2020.[2]
