Edyt was a Scottish-Norse seer from the Isle of Skye. An old childhood friend of the Norse seer Valka and her mother Svala, Edyt travelled to England after her island was plagued by nightmares. There, she sought out Valka in Ravensthorpe and presented the case to her and the settlement's jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir, who agreed to help as best she could given the unusual circumstances.
