Albert Arnold "Al" Gore, Jr. (born March 31, 1948) served as the 45th Vice-President of the United States from 1993 to 2001 under President Bill Clinton. He was also the Democratic Party nominee for President in the 2000 U.S. presidential election.
Gore was backed by the Assassins in his campaign, but he lost to George W. Bush, a pawn of the Templars. One of the contributing reasons for Gore's loss, which greatly affected his chances, was a Templar sleeper agent named Daniel Cross; who had infiltrated the Assassin Order and killed The Mentor, dealing a great blow to the Brotherhood and his backing.
