The Al-Jabr is a mathematical treatise on algebra written by the polymath Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi.[1]
In the 860s, the famed author Al-Jahiz sought to collect the book to add to his library in the House of Wisdom. The Hidden One Basim Ibn Ishaq found a copy of the book in Abbasiyah and delivered it to him.[2]
Basim's description
This man, Al-Kwarizmi, is some sort of a mathematical visionary and I met him briefly when I was young and had snuck into the House of Wisdom. If I understand correctly, algebra is a way of balance to find the answerto a mathematical question. It feels Like a larger metaphor for life ... to create balance. Is this not what the Hidden Ones are trying to do in the world?
