Akrokorinth, also spelled Akro-Korinth[1], was the acropolis of the polis Korinth in Greece. The immense hill was the site of the city's Temple of Aphrodite which was renowned for its hetaerae in the 5th century BCE.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan, misthios, Kassandra, visited the acropolis in search of information about her mother's whereabouts.[2]
