Drakontospilo is a cave on the eastern part of the island Anaphi, Greece.

History

At some point during the 5th century BCE, the cave became the 'home' of Polyphemos, a one-eyed man. He was taken care of by Leda for a while, before they parted ways.[1]

During the Peloponnesian War, following a lotus flower wine induced vision, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the cave and found a treasure within, as well as Polyphemos.[1]
