Database Entry

A favourite area for artists, Dorsoduro was Venice's festival centre[sic]. It contains the Squero di San Trovaso, where gondolas are constructed, and the Church of Santa Maria della Visitazione.[1]

Trivia

  • After the "Carnevale" Sequence, the district still continues to celebrate the Carnevale, albeit without fireworks or the presence of Carnevale games.[1]
