Doomsday is a memory in Assassin's Creed II.

Description

The Preacher is one of Girolamo Savonarola's lieutenant causing chaos among the Florentine people. He claims that Savonarola is the prophet who will lead his followers to the kingdom of god, in order to do so the people had to giveup all forms of material pleasure and progressive thoughts. He says that Savonarola told him that even though Plato and Aristotle had given many arguments against the heretics they along with many philosophers were in hell. When he sees that the crowd does not believe in his words, he reminds them about how the Romans had done the same mistake by being doubtful of Jesus Christ.

Outcome

Upon assassinating the preacher, he reveals to Ezio that he wasn't under the influence of the Artifact. The Medici guards assume control of the area.
