Domitian (Latin: Titus Flavius Caesar Domitianus Augustus; 51 – 96) was Roman Emperor from 81 to his death. He was the third and last Emperor of the Flavian dynasty.

The son of Vespasian, Domitian succeeded his brother Titus as Emperor in 81. The following year, he built the Arch of Titus to honor his deceased brother and commemorate his victory in the Sack of Jerusalem.[1] In approximately 87, Domitian completed construction of the Temple of Vespasian and dedicated it to both his father and brother.[2]
