"Son of Horus, Ruler of All, Representative of the Gods, Builder of Temples and Culture, beloved father of our people - Djoser, Netjeriykhe."
―Inscription on a bust of Djoser.[src]

Djoser, also known as Netjeriykhe, was a pharaoh of the third Dynasty of Egypt.

During his reign, he ordered his chancellor Imhotep to construct the Pyramid of Djoser, in which he was buried. The pharaoh Khufu later gave an offering of a thousand loaves of bread, a hundred jars of beer, one ox and two balls of incense to him.
