David (c. 1040 BCE – 970 BCE) was the second King of Israel, according to the Hebrew Bible from c. 1003 – 970 BCE. During his lifetime he held possession of a Shroud of Eden, which is believed to be what aided him in his fight against Goliath.[1]
After his death, he was succeeded by his son Solomon.
