Once an innocent orphan girl, Nowaki was raised by her Templar sister, Suma. When her sister was killed, she was all but adopted by Kimura Yukari, who molded the girl into a tool of fear and terror. All that matters now to Nowaki is her unwavering duty to her new mistress.

Nowaki stalks Awaji with her cadre of shinobi preying upon any who would subvert the will of Yukari and the Sanzoku Ippa.
