The Dark Gauntlets were gauntlets found in the 5th century BCE Lesbos, Greece. Made of iron so dark it seemed to rather swallow the light than reflect it, the gauntlets were quite unique in their design.
The gauntlets were rewarded to the Spartan misthios Kassandra after she rescued Bryce from the wrath of a fearful mob that accused her of murdering her lover Ligeia.[1]

Behind the scenes
The Dark Gauntlets, a piece of armor in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, share the same model as the commonly found Dark Steel Gauntlets, another piece of armor in the same game.
