After Ezio Auditore meets up with Antonio de Magianis in the Dorsoduro district of Venice, their chat is soon interrupted by a murder in a nearby street. Ezio, who is feeling the need for justice, makes his way through the shocked crowd and shifts his new toy into gear while progressing further into the street. The murderer, who spots Ezio, grabs a nearby courtesan as a hostage. Ezio raises his new hidden gun and shoots past the courtesan and into the murderer's head.
