Ceremonial Khopesh

The Ceremonial Khopesh was a khopesh originating from Egypt. Its hilt featured a golden serpent that wound its way down the blade, symbolizing rebirth.

During the 5th century BCE, the khopesh made its way to Greece, where it was sold by blacksmiths.[1]
