The Convent of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Portuguese: Convento da Ordem do Carmo) is a convent located in Lisbon, Portugal. The convent was built atop an ancient Isu Temple that held a Piece of Eden, and several mechanisms hidden in the walls were connected to a hidden staircase leading to the Temple. In 1755, during All Saints' Day, the Colonial Assassin Shay Cormac visited the convent to retrieve the Piece of Eden located there. However, he ended up disturbing the Temple beneath the church, setting off an earthquake that ravaged the city and nearly destroyed the convent.[1]
