The Captain's Gauntlets were gauntlets worn by many Greek captains during the 5th century BCE. The fact that these were more a status symbol than actual armor didn't lessen their appeal.
The gauntlets were obtained by the Spartan misthios Kassandra from the corpse of a captain she had been tasked by Glaukos to kill. This was on the apparent orders of Diona, a priestess of Aphrodite, who in reality was a member of the Cult of Kosmos.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The Captain's Gauntlets, a piece of armor in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as the commonly found Bandit Bracers, another piece of armor in the same game.
