Captain's Gauntlets

The Captain's Gauntlets were gauntlets worn by many Greek captains as symbols of authority during the 5th century BCE.

The gauntlets were obtained by the Spartan misthios Kassandra as she took them from the corpse of a captain Glaukos had tasked her to kill, on the apparent orders of Diona, a priestess of Aphrodite, who in reality was a member of the Worshippers of the Bloodline branch of the Cult of Kosmos.[1]
