"Trained in battle and raised in a world of war and violence, the Captain remains a distinguished and refined character, respecting the codes of honor. Unfortunately, those he challenges to a duel by Sword never get the chance to count to three"

The Captain

The Captain (real name: Donato Mancini) previously known as The Soldier is a multiplayer character in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. The captains swords consist of a short sword and a dagger.

Donato was known as the greatest rider in all of Cesare Borgia's army, a title Cesare envied.
So Cesare ordered Fiora Cavazza to make Donato lose a race with him, through bribery or violence. He was offered an ornate suit of armor and many other gifts but he refused to back down steadfastly preaching that the winner is the winner.
Despite their many attempts to stop his victory he emerged victorious making Cesare furious. He ordered Donato beaten and he was, brutally.

He was a man of honor which Fiora Cavazza respected.

He was assassinated by Ezio Auditore after robbing a man who had defeated him in a race.
