Mounted Cannons are the mounted version of regular cannons, and are mounted on walls and towers. Mario had them installed in the Villa, suspecting an attack after the events at the end of Assassin's Creed II.[1] They use black powder to fire a large, metal ball at enemies, dealing large amounts of damage with each strike. Although real-life versions of this cannon would be much slower to reload, than just the putting a new cannonball in the barrel, since the gunpowder would have to be replaced every time a shot was fired. These cannons will appear in the upcoming game Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
