Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus Germanicus (31 August 12 - 24 January 41), more commonly known as Caligula, was the third Roman Emperor, reigning from 37 until his assassination.
His assassination was performed by the Assassin Leonius, who stabbed Caligula with a dagger. Historically, he is recorded to have been assassinated by a group of conspirators in a way similar to Julius Caesar, with multiple stab wounds.
Caligula was the heir to the first Roman emperor, Julius Caesar, who was also a Templar grand master during the Roman Empire. Caligula and Caesar had a relationship much like that of Rodrigo and Cesare Borgia in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
