Bustee Ram helping Ranjit Singh

Bustee Ram was the treasure keeper of Ranjit Singh at the latter's summer palace in 19th century India.

Biography

During a feast at the summer palace in 1839, the Maharaja handed Bustee a diamond, a copy of the infamous Koh-i-Noor, and told him to take it to his treasure chamber, Tosha Khana, under the palace. Unbeknownst to Bustee, Raza Soora, a servant boy of the Indian Assassin Arbaaz Mir, followed him to the chamber.[1] [2] [3]
