Brooklyn is one of New York City's five boroughs, located in the state of New York, United States. It is the city's most populous borough.[1]

History

On 27 August 1776, George Washington faced the British General William Howe's forces at Brooklyn Heights and commanded the Continental Army in his first battle of the American Revolutionary War. Mass desertion plagued Washington's forces and led to his defeat and retreat[2] which the Colonial Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton covered by sending apprentices to aid him.[3]

In the early 19th century, Tommy Greyling was born in the borough after his grandparents immigrated to the United States from Germany. A fact he'd relate to the singer Adelina Patti in July 1863 after rescuing her from ruffians.[4]

Successful, he remained its bartender for 9 years until 1 September 2012,[7] when the Master Templar Daniel Cross led Abstergo Industries agents[8] in kidnapping him for use in their Animus Project.[9] That day, security camera footage from Floyd Bennett Field caught Abstergo agents prepping Desmond for transfer in the early hours of the morning. The Initiates later collected this information and posted it to their secure private network.[10]
