Bronze Shield

The Bronze Shield was a circular shield made from bronze and leather common in Egypt during the Ptolemaic Kingdom. Simple though sturdy, the shield was particularly suited to blocking projectiles.

During his hunt for the Order of the Ancients, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa commonly found this shield in the inventories of blacksmiths and on bodies and in chests during his travels throughout Egypt.[1]
