The Bronze Epsilon Axe was a stronger Bronze Axe dating to the 1st century BCE in Egypt.
Description
A variant of the standard Bronze Axe of Ptolemaic Egypt, the Bronze Epsilon Axe bore the same plain, semi-circular blade bound to a pole at three points. Two of these points were either ends of the blade while the third was via a rear central protrusion at its midpoint. This had the effect of producing two holes in the blade between the binding points. For all intents and purposes, the battleaxe was identical not just the Bronze Axe, but the Scalloped Head Axe, another variant, as well.
History
The Bronze Epsilon Axe was common throughout Egypt during the 1st century BCE.
