A Templar (died 1776) captained a Man O' War for the Royal Navy during the American Revolutionary War. In 1776, he was contacted by fellow Templar Nicholas Biddle to attack the French Navy ship La Belladonna when it was on its to discreetly transport a supply of weapons and gunpowder to the Continental Army.[1] This was one of several operations that perplexed the Colonial Assassins Ratonhnhaké:ton and Robert Faulkner because Biddle was himself a captain of the Continental Navy.[2]
