During World War I an Assassin was a medic in the English Army.
Biography
In 1914, at Christmas Eve, the medic attended to several soldiers on the battlefield. He surveyed the battlefield searching for anyone he might have been able to help, but seeing they were all dead continued with his work. Hearing singing in the distance he followed his squad mates to investigate. The Germans had called a truce. To show his good faith he offered a novel to a German medic.
A German general, Erich Albert asked him to assist a German medic in removing the bullets out of one of their soldiers. Though successful, the medic was unsure of whether the man would live. The German medic returned to his squad. The medic then noticed a Templar ring on Albert's hand. Thinking he was admiring Albert offered the ring to the medic. The medic held up his hand showing he had no ring to exchange. Just when Albert noticed the Assassin's mark around his finger the medic assassinated him with his hidden blade.
