Boris Yeltsin (1 February 1931 - 23 April 2007) was the first President of Russia, in office from 1991 to 1999.
Yeltsin was secretly a member of the Templar Order. When the Templars realized that the then-leader of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, didn't recognize the Templars' goals, Margaret Thatcher sent a letter to Yeltsin telling him of a change of plans. A secret meeting was called in Belavezhskaya Forest, and Yeltsin was appointed to unseat Gorbachev and take over control of Russia. He dissolved the Soviet Union and thus Gorbachev's reforms, turning Russia into a more capitalist nation. During his time as President of Russia, Yeltsin mentored Vladimir Putin.
