The Boarding Axe was a naval axe with a wide axehead that possessed toothed barbs, a sharpened butt and a long wooden hilt. It was obtainable by the Assassin Aveline de Grandpré during the 18th century in New Orleans.

- The Boarding Axe is based on the US Type I boarding axe, though this is anachronistic as this design was introduced around 1797.[1]
