The Blood Waders were leather boots that were part of a set of armor inspired by the Spartan Renegade and the Spartan ways. Strapped to the legs, the boots were stained dark by all the blood they had been drenched with.
During the Peloponnesian War, the boots were made available to the Spartan misthios Kassandra through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories.[1]
