Pope Benedict XIII (Latin: Benedictus XIII; 2 February 1649 – 21 February 1730), born Pietro Francesco Orsini, was the head of the Catholic Church and ruler of the Papal States from 1724 to his death.
In the Prophecy of the Popes, he is named "Miles in bello", meaning "Soldier in war". In 2012, he was included in a mnemonic set in Abstergo Industries' Project Legacy.
