Bartolomeo Colleoni (1395 – 2 November 1475) was an Italian condottiero, serving as Captain General of the Republic of Venice from 1455 to his death.

Following Colleoni's death, Andrea del Verrocchio designed a massive equestrian statue of the former.[1]

In 2012, he was included in a mnemonic set in Abstergo Industries' Project Legacy.[2]
