And I firmly stand by my opinion that no ancestor should have multiple games anymore aside from some handheld or mobile spin-offs perhaps. ''Brotherhood'' built too much on ''AC2'' for me to really consider it a game that stands on its own, and ''Brotherhood'' had a lot of fictional main characters because ''AC2'' already used up a lot of the time's historical records. History is what makes the series great, and ''Brotherhood'' and ''Revelations'' had too many fictional events. I'd rather have them spend their time and resources on making every game great and unique. ''Brotherhood'' and ''Revelations'' were also lacking in quality compared to ''AC1'' and ''AC2'', which I would prefer to not see happen again. | And I firmly stand by my opinion that no ancestor should have multiple games anymore aside from some handheld or mobile spin-offs perhaps. Yes, I said above that might be a possibility. But they already did that, and it would be too easy for them to do it again. I wouldn't be very satisfied with that, personally.
And I firmly stand by my opinion that no ancestor should have multiple games anymore aside from some handheld or mobile spin-offs perhaps. Brotherhood built too much on AC2 for me to really consider it a game that stands on its own, and Brotherhood had a lot of fictional main characters because AC2 already used up a lot of the time's historical records. History is what makes the series great, and Brotherhood and Revelations had too many fictional events. I'd rather have them spend their time and resources on making every game great and unique. Brotherhood and Revelations were also lacking in quality compared to AC1 and AC2, which I would prefer to not see happen again.
And Brotherhood and Revelations weren't planned from the start. I don't think they said "Assassin's Creed is a trilogy" anymore after Brotherhood was announced/released.
