Bahlam was a Maya Mentor of the West Indies Brotherhood of Assassins, and the father of Ah Tabai.[1]

In 1673, Bahlam secured the Sage Thomas Kavanagh, Jr. from Peter Beckford's estate in Jamaica, preventing him from falling under Laureano Torres y Ayala's Templar influence. He subsequently brought Kavanagh to the safety of the Assassin compound in Tulum, and helped the Sage prepare for his journey to the Observatory several days later.[2]

Trivia

  • "Bahlam" is a variant transliteration of the Mayan word meaning "jaguar".
