In terms of violence, I'm expecting AC to reach God of War at some point, seeing as each new Assassin seems to be getting more violent than the last.

Altair - Jams a dagger into a guy's chest twice in a row.

Ezio (AC2): Not much difference or at least, no significant difference.

ACR: Ezio jams a sword through a guy's head from under his chin, then twists his head 360 degrees.

Connor: Can twist a head with his bare arms and can jam half a musket through another guy.

Edward: Not much yet, but apparently he can (effortlessly) crush a skull with a ship's steering wheel.
