It seems like Unity is like the Assassin's Creed I parallel where the Modern Day Protagonists like Desmond and the Initiate meet Lucy and Bishop and they learn the secret war between Assassins and Templars. Syndicate is like Assassin's Creed II where the Isu Minerva and Juno appeared in the story line and they are very important to the Modern Day story.
