I think the statues of the legendary Assassins in Monteriggioni were specifically on the legendary Assassins who had their tombs moved to Italy, which then didn't apply to Bayek. Yeah, I would've loved to have Amunet as the main protagonist of this game. I think Ubisoft is for some reason a bit scared of having a female protagonist be the sole star of a main installment. I wonder if their data and research really show that there is a genuine threat of a decrease in sales if the sole, main protagonist is female. I've already encountered racist comments on YouTube about Bayek being Nubian. :-/ | |||

Then why the f#$% wasn't his statue in the Sanctuary of Monteriggioni? (Yes, I know. Because the idea of Bayek didn't even existed by that time). But I think that the creation of "a creed" is more important than a assassination. FAR more important. I mean, assassins kill templars everyday, no? Haha
But yeah, in my opinion Amunet should have been the protagonist of Origins and not Bayek. But f#%$ me.
