"Isu Paganism"[edit source]

Was it ever stated in any source that the Instruments worship all Isu instead of just Juno? Also, was the term "Isu Paganism" ever actually used? We really use the term "Pagan" if it's never even used. For lack of a name, we should just describe their belief instead (i.e. worship of Juno). The Wikia Editor (talk) 14:47, September 24, 2017 (UTC)

From what we know so far, the Instruments only worship Juno. I think using the term Paganism to describe their religious practices could be misleading since it's mainly used to refer to early Christianity. Isu paganism seems to be a bit more specific and suitable without sounding too weirdAlso, the page already mentions them as Juno Cult so I feel that it's good as it is. Xangr8 (talk) 12:59, September 24, 2017 (UTC)
The problem with the term "Isu Paganism" is that it implies that they worship all Isu, which is not the case as far as we can tell. There is also the fact that the term "Paganism" itself is a rather problematic term that was usually used by Christians to describe non-Christian religions in a derogatory way. As it stands, I believe "Isu Paganism" to be a misleading and inaccurate term. The Wikia Editor (talk) 15:12, September 24, 2017 (UTC)
I see the point you're trying to make, but I think that since the infobox is a general overviewof the article and not the exact specifications, Isu Paganism is the closest thing we can fill in. Just how Mithraism is generally referred to as Zoroastrian and not exactly Mithra Worshipping. Xangr8 (talk) 13:38, September 24, 2017 (UTC)
A general overview should still be accurate, making up an unsourced name for their belief system is not something we should do. Sol Pacificus had similarly changed the religion parameter of the Followers of Romulus from "Romulus Paganism" to "Worship of Romulus" because their belief system was never given an official name. He also pointed out his dislike of the wiki using the term "pagan" to descibe non-monotheistic religions, as though it were an actual term used by the groups themselves. The Mithraism comparison doesn't really work because it's an offshoot of Zoroastrianism, rather than a seperate group. Basically, without an official source stating the name of their belief system, we should simply say that their religion is "Worship of Juno", as it is the most accurate description.
