All it does is clutter the recent activity and make it seem like you're just trying to further your edit count (which is a bad thing to work for, trust me. Not suggesting that you are, just saying that others can see it as that). If you have more than one thing you want to edit on a single page, click the edit page button at the top of the article rather than the seperate edit buttons in the sections of the article.
