| Reasons why I'm not online
| | I started editing on this wiki since my high school summer vacation (last May of 2010, apparently) and have contributed a lot ever since. The biggest of my contributions were templates and staff-related tidbits and systems, such as the Bureau (formerly the Istruttori) templates, and the very foundations of The Apprentice Initiative, alongside 'R BlaiddDdraig, Subject 16*, and Vatsa1708. |

| ==Me...?==
| |
| Howdy doodly! The name's W-ahem.....War Clown! (chilly background music O_O) You can call me War, because Clown sounds like an insult if left alone, but if you'd prefer to add the prefix Awesome, or Epic then I wouldn't mind. In fact, do it more frequently :D
| |
| | |
| I'm your average video game lover. Lives in the Philippines. Grew up with the PlayStation. Owned every one of them except for the PocketStation & the PSX. It only does Everything! Until Sony removes it T_T
| |
| | |
| I'm overflowing with knowledge, but also lacking. That's why I go to Wikia. If I can help in an article, I log in and edit (sometimes though, it doesn't log in & my edit becomes "Unregistered Contributor's" Edit T_T). I'm also a frequent visitor of the other Wikia sites, like the GTA Wiki and the Dead Space Wiki, but I do A LOT more reading than editing there :D
| |
| | |
| The great irony of being the...ahem, War Clown (chilly background music O_O)...is that I refrain from fighting and flame wars. Yes, I know, I know, It's weird, but I give others the freedom to voice their opinion out without chocking them to death :D Whether it'd be an insult to the PS3 (Its exclusives are horrible! Gears of War is the b-*BANG!*) or a direct verbal assault to one of my favorite games (MGS4 Suc-*BANG!*), I usually ignore these minor negativity, but if it goes a step too far, I'll have your head mounted on my kitchen, and use your tongue as a table cloth!
| |
| | |
| My favorite game series are Assassin's Creed, Metal Gear, Devil May Cry, God of War, BioShock, Grand Theft Auto & Dead Space
| |

| Other useless facts about me
| |
| *I'm human :D
| |
| *I share my first name with one of the Templars (Marco Barbarigo)
| |
| *I'm a fan of the UFC (Undisputed 2010 is awesome!)
| |
| *I like any music, so long as it appeals to me
| |
| *I use a USB Modem get connected to the internet (which is why I don't have a PSN yet)
| |
| *I'm a GameFaqs user (although I use a different name, since War Clown was already taken)
| |
| *The only Resident Evil that I have played are 4 and 5
| |
| *I'm also a big fan of inFamous, Killzone, & Uncharted (Yeah, they're all PS exclusives, and they are all awesome!)
| |
| *The only fighting games that I play are Tekken, Soulcalibur & Marvel Vs Capcom (Although I have played Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat before)

| ==Assassin's Creed==
| |
| Current AC I'm playing: AC2
| |
| | |
| Ah, how I met AC. I'll never forget it. It seems like it was only yesterday.
| |
| | |
| It was 2009, when I was singing praises for my newly acquired PS3. Playing games that I have longed for since the announcement. Games like Devil May Cry 4, and Metal Gear Solid 4, the system was truly epic. When I mentioned this to my friend, he told about a, in his words, a cool game called Assassin's Creed. I asked him what the hell it was, he answered it was about a game set in history, and also sci-fi. I asked him if I could borrow it, to see for myself what it was, but alas, he cannot, for he hasn't finished playing it yet.
| |
| | |
| It was not until the end of the year, that my friend was finally able to lend me his copy of Assassin's Creed (Took him long enough, eh?). Obviously, I played it, to see for myself what I've been missing. An hour into the game, I was like: Oh.....My.....God....(I'm so in love, I found you finally, you make me wanna say....)
| |
| | |
| Compared to what my friend said, cool was an understatement! The game was absolutely awesome! The story was simple enough to follow on both In-Animus and Out-of-the-Animus(for me at least), the combat was something I deeply enjoyed, the missions weren't as repetitive as some said, and nearly every aspect of the game was amazing! I thanked my friend multiple times for letting me play his copy of the game.
| |
| | |
| Afterwards, I immediately bought Assassin's Creed II and I was squealing like a little girl over every improvement they made (I wasn't actually squealing like a girl, more like swearing like a sailor :D) The game was such a massive improvement! A better story on both sides, improved combat, all the new tools and gadgets, a protagonist with more background and personality (I still think Altaïr's a more badass than Ezio :D) , better location (AC1's areas were very dim compared to Italy), and a variety of enemies and targets. It truly was an epic improvement.
| |
| | |
| Now, about the spin-offs, I have yet to play the DS ones (expect me to give my opinion on it on August), but the PSP one, Bloodlines, was better than some said it was. While it was practically, a dumbed-down version of AC1, it managed to pull off a decent story, and a short bonus for AC2 (The Weapons gained from Interconnectivity really help when you're replaying the game :D)
| |
| | |
| Oh, and I've also watched the Lineage series. Pretty awesome side-story, if not short.
| |
| | |
| ==Pages I'm working/worked on==
| |
| These are a list of pages that I have helped out on. I'm only listing the pages that I have given a major contribution on. Pages marked with a (*) at the end of the sentence is considered finished (or at least I've done my part). Those that are unfinished are listed with a brief explanation regarding its problems.
| |
| *The Hunt for the Nine: Altair's quest for redemption after his failed mission at Solomon's Temple*
| |
| *The Assassination of Galeazzo Sforza: The incident in Milan during the Feast of Santo Stefano*
| |

| |
| *Hunt on Cyprus: Altair's journey in Cyprus where he fights the Templar order*
| |
| *Duel in the Templar Archive: Altair's fight with Armand Bouchart*
| |
| *The Birth of an Assassin: Ezio in training, preparing himself to step into his father's boots and continue his work. All I need now is some pics
| |
| *Auditore Execution: The tragic accident that happened in 1476. This really needs more pics
| |
| *Pazzi Conspiracy: The plans of the Pazzi family to take over Florence. All that's left is the conspirators, and a ton of pics
| |
| *Giovanni in Rome: Giovanni's time in Rome*

| ==Stuff To-Do for me and you==
| |
| Here's some stuff you and me could do. Follow them or not, well, that's up to you.
| |
|
Todo

| |
| ==Tips for any Storyline Editors==
| |
| As a member of the Istruttori (and as Chief Editor of the Timeline) I believe that it is my responsibility to teach those who wish to aid us in the timeline project what is right and what is wrong. I know I'm delusional to think that someone needs my help, but chances are, admins won't always be there to help you if you're expecting a fast reply. So I'll write down the simple things that you need to know about the Timelines....and hopefully, it might apply to other articles as well :D
| |
| ===A: Know what you can, Learn Right from Wrong===
| |
| As an editor of this wiki, it is your job to learn what you need to about one particular character, event, weapon, place, etc etc, and then type them down here. Whatever you type will be viewed as fact by the fans of AC. It is important that you learn everything there is about something, and then typing them down here (or chatting them down on paper and then type them here, whichever you prefer).
| |
| ===B: Thou shall not type false information===
| |
| Once it was said that misinformation is a whole lot worse than no information at all, and that is One-Hundred Percent True. If you write information that contradicts what is said from the game, chances are, people will believe what you have written, and this will result in an never-ending loop of flamewars and yo' mama jokes. So if you have doubts on your sources, best to keep it to yourself....for the moment at least.
| |
| | |
| ===C: Seek Help from Others===
| |
| Lack the knowledge to fill out a section? Then seek help from other prominent users! Like me, or him, or her, or them, or th-uhh....nevermind. Anyway, it is recommended that you seek the help of others if you lack the knowledge to fill out something, or if you doubt what you have heard and seen. Remember that you're not alone on this, but if you're editing an article detailing the events of a spin-off that nearly no one has played (*cough* Bloodlines *cough*), then you're on your own..at least for the story part :D
| |
| ===D: Write Right!===
| |
| Remember that grammar is very important when it comes to articles. At talk pages and discussions, it barely matters, but in articles, its VERY important. Always remember that other people will be reading the stuff you type, so be very careful in typing out stuff. Okay that's all.....wait....what? Present tense, Past tense, Future tense? Hmm...I'd suggest Present Tense, but if the situation calls for you to use the others, then use it. Now, back to work!
| |
| ===E: Think before you act===
| |
| When you see a little piece of info that you think is outright ridiculous and stupid (or it contradicts your source), what do you do? Undo it (Or in my case, Rollback)? Don't be so quick to negate what you think is false. Go to the previous editor's talk page, and have a little heart-to-heart moment, talk to them, tell them something, shout at their face if need be.
| |
| | |
| Okay, seriously, ask them where did they get the info, and chances are, he (or she) will tell you. If you find the reason believable but still have your doubts, consult with the higher-ups, or do your own research by playing AC again (and again and again). If the editor was right, then he/she was right. If he/she was wrong, then he/she was wrong. Just remember to think before you act, and we'll be safe.
| |
| | |
| ===F: Seeing is believing===
| |
| Other than text, Pictures and Images are also VERY important when it comes to articles (You wouldn't want to be staring at a huge wall of text now, would you?). It gives users a clearer picture when imagining the situation, and it can help out a lot in improving an article, especially if its of good quality. Of course, you can't just slap in a picture for no apparent reason, right? Learn how to properly integrate the images you have. Put them where they are needed, and learn how to explain these images. And try to limit the pictures if you can.
| |
| ===G: Polish Everything===
| |
| Done with the article? Good, but don't leave just yet! Before you leave the article as it is, review what you've typed in carefully, check it out, word for word. Sometimes the tiniest mistakes can affect the entire article. Mistakes are common on articles. Heck, their might even be one here! But of course, these can be fixed easily. Before saving a page, always check it out first by pressing preview, and then review it there. Always check everything out :D
| |
| ===H: Be as Detailed as can be===
| |
| Part of the reason why the Timeline Project is created is to give users a well-detailed summary of the events that transpired in the game. It is the job of the project members to provide this information, so when typing, be very specific. Don't just write fragments of information like "Ezio went to Monteriggioni" or "Giovanni got betrayed by Uberto", be very specific, and detail it with the right grammar and proper vocabulary.
| |
| ===I: Use the Source, Anakin!===
| |
| Lack the knowledge on how this template works? Wish you could present a quote a wee bit better? Well, if you look to your upper right while editing, you'll see a button saying source. Click it, and it'll show you how everything works (well, most of them at least). Check closely what is written in what you can't understand. From infoboxes, to userboxes, this thing can tell you the wonders of code, all in a click of the button! Get it now, and receive this brand new, Big Daddy Plushie! Alright, that's about it. May the Source be with you, young padawan.
| |
| ===J: Present your work!===
| |
| Feel like gloating about your success? Get the urge to rub in your hardwork on the other users? Want to hear the opinions of others? Then present your work to them! I recommend to get the higher-ups opinions, they know their stuff. But if you want my opinion, then I'd say sure. Just remember to take in criticism openly and kindly. You wanted opinions, right? Then expect them to be both good and bad, as you can never be sure, only suspect.
| |
| ====J-1: Not good enough?====
| |
| They didn't like your work? Too bad. Of course, they wouldn't dislike it just because they didn't like you, now would they? Of course not! That would be outright ridiculous! There is always a reason behind criticism and there is a hundred percent chance that the critics will say what you need to improve on. Once they've given what you need to improve on, then waste no time and do it! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!
| |
| ===K: Celebrate!===
| |
| You get good opinions? Then congratulations! Now celebrate by eating some strawberry cheese cake with cookies and milk at the side while watching Spongebob Squarepants on TV. Or rest, play, get out of the house, or if you have more time to kill, continue your work and help out more. Whichever you prefer.
| |
| ===L: Nothing is True, EVERYTHING IS PERMITTED===
| |
| That right there, is the key. Remember that this is a site with information that ANYONE CAN EDIT! Always remember to check out what you've written, learn it's history, see who has been in and out, know who edited what. If you don't, you might regret it.
| |
| | |
| And That is a Wrap!
| |
|
| |
|
| Well, that's all the tips I had in mind. Wait, you say your problem is not listed here? Wanna talk about it? Then go to my talk page, and we'll have some imaginary coffee (and maybe some of that cheese cake)
| | Fast forward some time later, I was eventually made an official Administrator, alongside Master Sima Yi and the now retired D. Cello. Eventually, I had to leave my position due to reasons that have now been lost by historians. Nowadays, I just do small-time edits and update my user page whenever I have bought, consumed, or sold, another piece of Assassin's Creed media. |

| Pics I took while watching some walkthroughs on YouTube for the Storyline Articles. Since they mean so much to me, I thought I'd put them here in my User Page (Note: One of these images were taken from GameFAQS)
