Welcome to my user page. I'm a Staff member here and a graduate of the Apprentice program, where I now mentor Forgotten Fragment. I go by either Nos, Nostalgia, or Nosferatu, so feel free to call me any of those.

Also, my userpage is pretty bare for now, but more stuff will come in the future, so make sure to keep stalking me.

Beginnings

I started editing in mid-July of 2011. Although my editing skills weren't the best, I edited a lot and got a lot of tips from staff members. A little over a month later, once I got to 250 edits, I signed up for the Apprentice program. I had my interview later that night with Blaidd, and, after a few hours of waiting, was told I had been accepted into the program.

Apprenticeship

My Apprenticeship began with a long wait for a mentor. From August until nearly November, I watched as a lot of my friends progressed in the Apprentice program. Unfortunately, I also watched as several other applicants were chosen over me, and I quickly became disheartened. I contemplated leaving the program and wiki entirely, but I reluctantly stayed after being convinced by a few friends.

Eventually, on October 30 of 2011, I messaged GuardDog (GD) and asked her to be my mentor. I explained that I understood that I wasn't the most appealing candidate due to my rather raw editing skills, but she took me on graciously nonetheless. I quickly elevated the first few ranks while learning a lot from GD and other Staff members. I worked on my assignments constantly and completed them quickly. At the start of the new year in 2012, I started on my final project as an Apprentice: promote five articles to FA.

Over the course of about a month, I worked on several event articles. I would revamp them and quickly nominate them and finished my last assignment in early February. After a lengthy discussion with GD about my future, she recommended me as Staff. During the voting process, I checked the wiki regularly, hoping for a verdict. Eventually, on February 21, 2012, I was brought on as a Staff member.

First tenure as Staff

Once I was Staff, I quickly signed up to be a mentor for the Apprentice program. I did some minor administrative stuff around the wiki, and I began working with an Apprentice, Odranoelluta, in late March of 2012. Unfortunately, due to family and school issues, I was forced to leave the wiki on April 1, 2012. I left alongside a few other Staff members, coincidentally, like Subject 16, Cello, and Rome.

Return

With most of issues settled, I rejoined the wiki in January of 2013. I did a lot of work around the wiki creating event articles and promoting a few to GA/FA, and nominated myself for staff again soon after. I was rebrought on as a Staff member in late January of 2013. I quickly rejoined the Apprentice program as a mentor and currently mentor an Apprentice.
