João become an assassin at the age of 16 after joining the Portuguese Assassins. He became the Mentor of the Portuguese Assassins by the age of 20.
Carlos first discovered the Assassin's Order in 2013 and since then has become a historian and analyst for the [[Portuguese Brotherhood of Assassins]]. With the Assassin's resources and the [[Animus]] he soon discovered that his ancestry lies deep in Portugal and [[Spain]].


Throughout his life he made rid of the Portuguese Templars and restored the Portuguese Assassin Order. He and his Order were also the main cause of the uprising in the Lisbon Massacre of 1506, with aid from the Italian and Ottoman Assassins. João single handedly assassinated the Templar Grand Master, Manuel I, in 1521.
Carlos is currently studying programming at the [http://www.istudentacademy.com/ iStudent Academy] in Cape Town.


João had travelled all around the world to places including Spain, Italy, India, Brazil and South Africa. João resided in Venice with his wife, Claudia Auditore, of whom him met and married in 1510. João died of old age in 1541 leaving his legacy with his wife and two children.

Carlos João Faria (born 1998) is a Portuguese IT student and, unbeknownst to most, member of the Assassin Brotherhood living in Cape Town, South Africa.

Carlos first discovered the Assassin's Order in 2013 and since then has become a historian and analyst for the Portuguese Brotherhood of Assassins. With the Assassin's resources and the Animus he soon discovered that his ancestry lies deep in Portugal and Spain.

Carlos is currently studying programming at the iStudent Academy in Cape Town.

He spends his time playing and watching football, supporting Real Madrid and FC Porto, and spoiling his girlfriend with gifts and romantic dates.
